Collection: Fox Umbrellas

Founded in 1868 during the era of Queen Victoria , it is not the oldest in the long history of umbrellas in the UK, but Fox Umbrellas played a key role in the evolution of modern umbrellas and can be called modern umbrellas. It is no exaggeration to say that it is a pioneer.

The original umbrella shop opened by founder Thomas Fox was no different from the umbrellas sold by everyone. They were all made of whale ribs and silk umbrella cloth. Although they could protect against wind and rain, they were not strong and durable. Until 1880 , following the development of the Industrial Revolution , Inspur took advantage of the situation and invented a unique steel frame structure, which made the umbrella light and strong, and also laid the basic prototype for modern umbrellas.

After World War II, new materials sprung up, and this century-old store became the first company to use nylon fabric to make umbrellas. Later, a series of umbrella handles with wooden handles, bamboo handles, or animal heads made of tin, nickel and other metals were launched .

Since its establishment, Fox Umbrellas still insists on continuing to make umbrellas by hand. Over the years, the brand's umbrella manufacturing process has not changed much, and it is not far from the way it was founded. It still tests the durability of the umbrella in various ways, just like a careless user.
