Collection: Alden

The Alden Shoe Company was founded in 1884 by Charles H. Alden in Massachusetts on the east coast of the United States. It is a legendary page in the history of American footwear.

Alden, which was founded slightly later than the Industrial Revolution, benefited from the global technological reforms and was able to make more breakthroughs in production efficiency, thus gradually establishing a reputation in the market.

Due to its insistence on quality and positioning, Alden still insisted on taking the high-end route even when it encountered the difficult environment of the Great Depression in the United States 50 years after its establishment, which enabled Alden to grow rapidly during this severe period.

In the century since the brand was founded, Alden is not only world-renowned for its Shell Cordovan Leather, but has also created many classics, such as the first Tassel Loafer. Alden's work boots also have the nickname "Indy Boots" because of the movie "Indiana Jones".
