Coherence | Alain 10oz Logger Selvedge Denim Trousers

Coherence's "Alain" trousers were inspired by snapshots of French navigator, writer and tennis player Alain Gerbault, who often played tennis wearing high-waisted and loose trousers with a tie on the waistband that served as a belt.

The fabric is 10-ounce Logger Selvedge Denim, a new fabric from Coherence that was specially developed over time to draw inspiration from vintage denim from famous brands such as Lee.

This 10-ounce denim has a look and feel similar to the denim issued to the U.S. Navy in the 1930s-40s.

The Alain is a straight-leg trouser with a single-fold configuration and a tie and button fastening at the waist.

The fishtail back and buttons on the inside of the waistband and back, along with intricate stitching details, make the entire trousers look even more perfect.
