The Foufou coat has two sources of inspiration. The first is a reference to the windbreaker worn by Japanese artist Léonard Foujita when he was interviewed by reporters on the coast of Deauville, France in 1928. The other is the "car" that was widely used during World War I. "Motoring Coat", both have similar details: double rows and no ties.
In order to pay tribute to Léonard Foujita, the design team decided to name the product after his nickname.
During his time at the Paris Academy, he was known for his unique taste and uninhibited attitude, and was called "FOUFOU" (French original meaning: crazy) by the French at the time.
Made from Cohérence's own Gabardine fabric, a yarn-dyed, high-density fabric tightly woven from the finest Indian extra-long fiber cotton.
As a natural rain-proof weapon, there are no synthetic surface treatments or films.
Through a special process, it has water-repellent properties while maintaining breathability and the smooth and natural feel of the original material.
